Default Frontspoiler repair set

Hello,
the early spoilers are very expensive now (1200 €) and I found a solution from our Friends in the German 928 Forum.
Spoiler Material ist PU so Forch K151 is the right choice.

The Set is 50 $ and the best way is leaving the Spoiler on the Car.

Can it also be used to repair a later S4/GT/GTS spoiler?
I suppose that this is the case but need to ask.

On the spoiler should be a circle with a code for PU. Polyurethan

I bought a plastic welder kit and plan to repair mine soon. Mine is cracked at the passenger side corner. I'll post pictures of the job when done.

For Plastic welding you need to get the material to the correct Temp for each type of plastic, I'm sure you are aware of that Ed.

Also, if it is PU, beware the fumes which are quite toxic. More so when burnt, of course, than melted. But still.

Thank you, I'll check that out
Also was thinking one could drill small holes and Zip tie two parts together for drying, once dry cut out the Zips and fill in the holes.

You can use stainless steel net for enforcement.

My Grandmother used go say, "there is notuing new under the sun." I think that is true here. If you do a search here with the words Radical Custon 928 you will find my older thread about the radical custon 928 that I was doing. In the last few posts I did on that thread I did a very radical custom project on the rear bumper cover in which I sectioned it 2 inches and did some other custom mods to it I used something that I think is called Poly Vance and it incorporates a kind of poly U system of brazing, since PU is not considered weldable. It is more rubber than plastic. The Poly V. process involves simply kind of hot glueing the pieces back together, then reinforcing them with stainless steel hardware cloth then covering them up with a fiber fill that is said to be sandable. I highly recommend that process. Google it and get some of it for your Bumper Cover Repairs.
