Hi Gang,

Jeannie and I wanted to introduce the new member of 928 Specialists.

His name is Thor, a pure German bred Long Haired German Shepherd and he says "Hi" to everyone (well, more like a "woof").

He is now 9 weeks old, 20+ lbs and already been busy inspecting the 928 parts here. Thor is being gromed to be head of security and will be responsible for making sure all the 928 parts are safe... until you guys need them :-)

Those of you coming to Shark in the Mountains in 3 weeks will get to introduce yourselves, shake his big paws and scratch his fuzzy ears :-)

Oh, if you find any teeth marks in any 928 parts from now on you will have to take it up with Thor, he can be reached at thor@928gt.com .. (JUST KIDDING:-)

928 Content: Look closely at the upper right of the photo and you can see the recently installed clear Euro Fog/Driving Light dividers on my 90GT.

Im on my 3rd german shepard, she is almost 2 and her name is Roxie. Keep plenty of toys around for Thor to chew on. They get bored if their not challenged enough with some sort of activity, much more than say a labrador. About 3 months ago she ate the printer cable in my office!! But she has got to be one of the best dogs ever.
Keeping my sign shop safe? NO PROBLEM. They are one scary looking and sounding dog when posted at their guard station.

Hi Warren,

Yes, Wal-mart was the first stop on the way home with him last night, LOTS and lots of chew toys.

He does have his calm moments, here he is making sure the lift arm behind me doesn't move :-)

Intimidating at 9 weeks!!

How fitting, a German Shepard to shepard german parts. I mean a Schnauzer couldn't carry those shocks around to the counter now could he?

Congratulations.

Hi Dave,

Sorry to hear about Hardee. I'm glad I got to see him one more time at VIR.

SWEEEEEEEEET!!!!!! My family is on German Shepard #4 (Rhaj) that my Mother rescued from the pound, but we've never had a long haired shepard. Shepard puppies are the greatest. It's fun watching them go from awkward dealing with the big paws, to amazingly powerfull and agile. There is no finer breed of dog in the world......the Porsche of Dogs!

Congratulations!

Regards,
JE

mmm...
I guess i will double-check those rubber gaskets for bite-marks (just kidding)
I like dogs, specially shepperds, but i am more a turtle man; just ask pinky, smiley, neo, tragonito and grey-dog (grey-dog is an argentinan sideneck turtle that acts like a dog) how they are being treated...They really enjoy the occasional 928 ride!!!

John,

Thanks for your thoughts.

Nicobel,

>I guess i will double-check those rubber gaskets for bite-marks (just >kidding).

Luckily the gaskets are up high, I already caught him pulling a set of S4 front brake pads from the shelf towards the shipping table, ironically I needed them for an order leaving today!

At this rate I should have him bringing coilovers to me real soon :-)

SteveG, you obviously have not met a standard or giant schnauzer. More than adequate for the job.

Dave & Jeannie,

Thor is one hell of a salesman (salesheppard...). I took one look at him and decided I had to have a pair of those cool Euro parts for my Fog/Driving lights too!

Every now and then take a shot of him in front of something else, I bet you get results. Although I think you do well on your own.

Thanks

Rob
