Just bought an 85 Euro 928S 5 speed manual that’s Prussian blue with blue interior. The dash and instrument cluster have several cracks. Any ideas on where to get a replacement dash?
I am assuming your dash is NOT leather correct? You are seeing cracking in the 'leatherette' a plastic coated onto foam? For 1985 models with leather and leatherette dashes, Leatherette was offered in "blue", and leather were offered in 2 blues: "Blue" and "Ocean Blue". Knowing what color you have will be critical in matching any repair work (more on this lager). Porsche has long since discontinued the dash for your car in blue, and most every other color, so finding a new dash will be impossible.
Finding a used un-blemished dash or a previously reconditioned dash is a worthwhile endeavor, albeit scarce, because you are looking for a color match as well as perfect condition. Fortunately "blue leatherette" is a fairly common color used from 1980-1989. So there may be options available.
You can have your dash recovered by Just Dashes or by Classic9 Leather Shop. Both are reputable and provide near factory looking results. Expect to pay $1200 - $2500 and make sure you send both the dash and the console to ensure proper match. Classic9 will also sell you a dash recovering kit if you like.
Let me share some thoughts on this approach. It was a great learning experience and I made 2 attempts before I was satisfied. I should have used stronger glue (DAP Landeau adhesive) and trying to make one piece vinyl work was impossible. I would definitively opt for having a cover made with seams on each end for a much better fit. I just looked at https://www.classic9leathershop.com/928-dashboard-cover and they offer the cover for $150 -270 in vinyl which seems like an great price. I would definitively go that route if you are inclined to DYI.

You might want to look into Superior Restoration Products. They offer a kit that enables you to fill in the cracks and recolor the area. It's an 8 part process and a bit tricky at first but once you get your balance it works really well. I paid $100 for the kit a few years back. I have a grey green dash and it worked will for me.

interesting…
any more insight as to what/how and how much you did with their kit?
I had a crack that was about an inch long coming up from the upper right side of the glove box door. That was my first stab at it. It came out OK. Then I had a a crack coming down from the defroster and that came out great. Of course there were the pod cracks which required surgery and a total repaint and texturing of the pod. I'm happy with it. The color is a bit off slightly but keep in mind I dealing with grey green not black or brown. Regardless ...it works and I don't stress about cracks as much.
