Default Help in identifying these .....

I am in the process of replacing all of the engine sensors (CPS, Temp 2, Gauge Temp), a few other maintenance items (hoses, Ign caps, rotors, etc) and all of the 2 and 3 Amp Junior plugs in the engine bay. While replacing the one for the Cam I came across this spare one. Doesn't look like it has ever been installed due to the gunk in the plug. The wires are red/yellow stripe and brown/yellow as seen in the photo.

Also, in improving my base knowledge of the car I also try and identify each component on the flowsheet (I have a printed set of Ed Scherer copies, Thank you Ed). I ran into a problem with the CPS because for the life of me I cannot find it. I was expecting to find it on Sheet 10 with the Maf and others but all I can come up with is this Speed Sensor that goes to the EZK.
Is this the CPS? The CPS wiring on my car is a red + white + shield that looks like a repair of the CPS OE wires under the manifold so I cannot trace the wires to verify the colors.

The speed sender is the CPS and should have brown and white cores plus the shield.

The "spare" plug is a two pin plug and it enters the engine management harness. It is not the Hall sensor connector [that is a 3 pin connector] and the colours are wrong for a temp 2 sensor and those are the only sensors that plug could seemingly connect to length wise.

Presumably we are talking about a digi dash model given the plug wiring diagram. Is this example a US market spec model or a grey import [not that I can think of a difference to explain what is seen]?
