Default Top end engine hoses replacement

I own a '79 euro 5 speed that I am currently restoring. I'm currently planning the process of removing and resealing the engine and cleaning the engine bay while at it. One of my biggest concerns is replacing all of the very old, worn, and disintegrating hoses. Im trying to look everywhere for replacement hoses, mainly for the top end of the engine and I'm having trouble figuring out exactly what to look for and where to find it. One item specifically would be the plastic (I assume) form fitted hose coming from the throttle body to the WUR. Ive never done anything like this on this car before so any advice is also more than appreciated. If there is anything else you guys think I should do while the engine is out, anything I should do or watch out for when resealing the engine, or anywhere you recommend looking for parts or what parts to look for, I am more than willing to hear you out, thanks.

^^^Those are places to buy parts, and will have just about everything you need. There is also 928 Classics, which sells parts specific to these early cars. So if you are interested in restoring to an original look, reach out to Jim at 928 Classics - Home - Porsche 928 restoration and parts specialist - 928 Classics

One of the great, concentrated, single point sources of information you can start to digest is from user @worf928 . If you can find a post where he's commented he has a link to a compendium of information on the kinds of things you can start to look for and address. Since you have your engine out, there's a LOT of things that you can take care of much more easily WYAIT.

I'll start with a not-particularly-high priority job that's super easy with the engine out: replace the oil pan gasket with one of the new green ones, and put on some new motor mounts.

Good luck, you're in the right place for help and support.

Cheers

If you refer to my inspection guide it’s in my post signature on openroad dot site.

Thanks for all the help so far, as of right now I'm planning on only fixing things related to the engine or things that are easier to get to with the engine out. So far I've been using the PET to get me all the part numbers of everything I need to get. Ive added almost everything together, albeit the list could probably be shortened and a few extra things could be added, but so far the total comes to just under $6,000. Not an easy number to sit on but it somewhat makes sense. Ive been able to find almost everything I need however I'm stumped to find parts for the K-jet intake system. More specifically, I can't really find anything for numbers 26-35 on page 69 of the PET. I am going to do an air pump delete so I don't the the air line going from that system or the t connector it goes too but pretty much everything else I can't really find. Any ideas?

Write to Roger Tyson at 928sRus. If Roger can't find it... it probably doesn't exist.
