To each his own. There aren't your typical wide wheel fitment issues with that thing.
I'm more interested in the vehicles in the background. Are those Chumley 8-ton load packers? Now those really haul!

Vin says '85, the rest says, "What a waste"; odd -- they left the Porsche emblem on the hood. After changing virtually every decent line on the car, you'd think they would remove that too; must think that would still have cache. And of course no engine pics.

It looks like the wreckage from when Batman and Knight Rider t-boned Tony Montana. Bad news for all three but I think the car suffered most.

IMHO this is precisely what the factory would have done for a racing 928, in later homologations. Same as 924GTR/GTS. More rubber, splitter, side skirt.

Your right, but then racecars look weird on the road. Did you see the "street" 962 in Excellence? Even better, think NASCAR on the street.
I still give the car a 7.8 on the "WTF are you thinking" scale.

Looks like they have completely spoiled the suspension geometry with those front offsets. I bet it wanders all over the road, and eats tie rod ends (and other suspension parts) like crazy. Or would, if they ever drove it. Is that 2,000 miles for real? Carfax, anyone? Also, they have committed what I feel is one of the most heinous of ricer crimes against the notion of good taste... look at how much wider the rear fenders are than the tires. Reminds me of a honda with a huge body kit and stock tires... in fact that's probably who he stole the blue wipers from. Yeah, I know he's got huge rubber under there, but IMHO it still looks stupid with the fender sticking out like that. Also, visualize it without the Rice kit... those rear wheels are sticking out a good 8" past the original fender lip, and they only look to be 12" or so wide. It almost certainly needs a T-belt & water pump. Also, with an average of 100 miles a year on it I bet it needs lots of seals including the mains, The brake and clutch hydraulics are probably all corroded internally, I hate to imagine the state of the fuel system.... jeez, it hurts to think about it. Definitely a Batmobile, with one foot in the grave. I think what he meant was, putting it right will cost "$40K to unlimited".

I want to know what is the purpose of the "scoops" in the rear fender extensions? Why do people put scoops and holes and bulges and fins and.....ad nauseum ... unfunctional "things on cars?? Maybe I'm just not enlightened, but the factory usually doesn't place anything on Porsches (until the 996) that is not functional or that does not enhance performance.
And certainly not to impress anyone. Conclusion: this car doesn't impress me other than to feel sorrow for the state of its builder's mind.

DON'T WORRY
Those $ 40K are elbonians dollars (one american dollar=100000000000000 x10^27 elbonian dollars, ask Dilbert)
IMHO it would make a fast snow-plow-thing (look at the front lip)
