Default Finish on sills

1986 S2...

I have a small amount of welding to do (obviously, it won't be a small amount when I get into it) on the outer sill. I'm hoping to do a localised paint repair for the moment. Does anybody have a good way to recreate the "rough" finish on the original paint along the sills? It doesn't need to be perfect - near enough will do.

Look at YouTube for Videos, it‘s German but the pictures should show you the details.

I worked in Germany for a while. I'm not saying I speak German but on a good day I struggle along

Same with my English, I don’t need to speak it on the farm.
At the moment I‘m bored because I have a bladder infection and lying on the couch. The pain is gone, maybe at 55 I shouldn’t lay under the 928 on the concrete.
