Default Help needed with fuel pump

I'm now at the fuel tank and pump area.
Before we bought the car the PO had said that in hot weather the car was stalling and sometimes would not re-start until a long rest period.

Anyways, today I drained the tank and there were lots of pieces of black rubber.
Apart from bastardizing the mounting area with a saw, the biggest issue was that instead of the in-tank pump there was a strainer and a non-standard Bosch Pump.
I bought an in-tank pump from a friend who changed over to the strainer only. The OE equipment has now been returned to service but I ran into another, hopefully really minor issue.
---> the nut for securing the positive connection on the pump is smaller than the negative side. Obviously, the quickest solution is a trip to Home Depot BUT, what am I looking for? What is that size.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Who wants to trade an in-tank pump for a brand new (never installed) Bosch 044 + the one removed from the car (working) + a fairly good strainer

Even if the connecting rubber is broken. I'm looking to have a spare

A Bosch 044 is a terrible idea, in a 928 which does not make over 400hp, BTW.
Not only do you need to rewire for the increased amperage of the 044 pump,
but you will be pumping around huge volumes of unneeded fuel....which only serves to increase the temperature of the fuel.
(Which is already a problem in 928's.)

Yeah, I'm learning that now.
My original wiring returned to service and I have a 3-wire loom going to the spare tire area to remove tomorrow.
I see a relay in there too.
