This appears to be scam. PayPal will not pay for it.

NP.."4 weeks" is the DE estimate on shipping. Id bet most of that is sitting in a queue at customs in LA.

i hardwired mine. it's bulletproof. and not too difficult if you just follow the foil (i marked mine up with different colors to help make sure i was not confusing paths). make sure you don't forget the tiny diode. remove as much slack from each wire as possible and glue them to the housing. while i was at it i eliminated the lighting "prisms" and put white and uv led bulbs at the bottom of the lighting slots. i installed all led bulbs, and replaced the dimmer switch with a $10 led dimmer from ebay. it works like a charm. my only mistake was using solid wire vs strand...the crimps for the molex plugs that i used wouldn't stay tight so i had to add some solder to each crimp. if i had to do it over again i think i do the actual hard wire in less than one hour. total cost...about $25 including bulbs and dimmer. (a hot soldering iron is a must have)

We've not installed a single "kit" that worked and didn't need a replacement part.
like that one kit i installed where the surface mounted stuff was not soldered on correctly. that was FUN! (eye roll)

You can order it from Rose Passion. Gets here in under 4 days from when you order it for ~$150 shipped due to the current dollar/euro exchange rate.

That is where I got mine because I got tired of waiting on Porsche to ship things so slowly. DHL is a little faster...

Your parts guy should be able to expedite -anything- for $5-20 and get it in 2 days.

Without duties.

It's already 2 day shipping as standard to SoCal.

Usually it just gets held up for a bit in customs (hence 4 days, usually gets here in 3 or less after placing the order due to the France to CA time difference).

It still gets here faster than Porsche can get me the part if none of the local usual sources have it.

Gotta keep all options open with how weird it is to get a steady parts supply right now.

It is, until it isnt. A good parts guy will let u you know...Im guessing in the variability I see, that Porsche has limited room for air shipment(s), and retail orders can take a back seat.

That has been my experience. You can expedite it to a 2 week shipment, but it'll cost an extra 20%. So far that has been the fastest retail shipment from DE I have gotten from 3 dealerships...

RP can get them quicker because as you can imagine, France is just a touch closer to Germany than we are
