I personally would not want to use that "fixed " wheel on my car ..... bending , pushing and welding on alloy wheels can seriously compromise the integrity of the metal . Try bending a coat hanger a few times and you see what happens .

That is kind of the response I got from 2 wheel repair shops. 1 said "NO", that was the e-mail return. The other said "absolutely not". I need to get back to them to have them clarify?
