Default Garage9 Automatic Shift ***** For Sale--SOLD

Clearing out some stuff. Garage9 carbon fiber shifter ***** fits 85+ Porsche 928. One sold as a blem, I couldn't find the defect. I'll call them rare since they are NLA on their website. Only one shifter rod so they need to be sold as a set. I though they looked nice installed, but not exactly the stock look. $125 gets the set and covers shipping. Installation instructions included. DM with comments.

Don

The two *****, shifter rod and instructions

A blemish somewhere, I couldn't find it

This one is perfect

Why do they only fit 85+?

If they'll fit my 84 Euro S I'll take them.

There was a change in the auto shift mechanism, including the shifter handle ("Selector ****", below), from '84 to '85. I don't know exactly how it changed, but I recall hearing the shift handles from one cannot be used on the other. Don't know if that incompatibility goes in both directions, however, but I suspect it does.

Seems like the button just pushes the rod down. I'm willing to risk it. PM me your PayPal if you would.

I like my current setup with shortened shift rod and push down ****, but also like CF and options.

The '85-'92 "Selector lever" has the same part number, and from my notes, my 86.5 selector lever is 15mm in diameter, in case that helps any.

Keep us posted on what you find with this effort!
