Greer, S.C. Dyno Day on May 8th
Hello folks, this post is just to refresh everyone's memory about the dyno day/cookout/cruise-in on May 8th.
So far I have about 10 cars confirmed, and about 5 maybe's.
Even if you can't make it, pass the info along to a friend. Check your schedules, mark your calendars, do whatever you have to do, just come on to Greer for some good clean 928 fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK folks here is an update with final date and times. Some of you I have
already spoken with, but I wanted to get it all out there again just to be
sure. I have also extended an invite to other P-car owners in the area,
because I think they might be interested as well.
Date: May 8th
Meeting location: Exxon station off I-85 exit 60 (BMW exit) in the
Greenville/Spartanburg area of South Carolina.
Schedule: Meet at 0800 at the above location, and leave from there to the
dyno shop (in Greer) at about 0815--0830. Dyno until all cars are done, or
1pm
which ever comes first. Then head for the Lockhart casa (also in Greer) for
a cookout, adult beverages, car talk, etc.... Then at approximately
4:00--4:30pm
head into Greenville to Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet for their monthly
cruise-in. A nice display of P-cars would be a welcome sight amongst all the
American muscle.
Cookout and cruise-in are free, and the dyno is $30.00 for a standard 3
pull session. (that's less than half the price of ANYWHERE else.) No time
for tweaking though, unless it's a quick, and I mean quick tweak. Basically
we have time for just standard strap it down, run it 3 times, and unstrap it
sessions. If you just want to come hang out, but not dyno, that is perfectly
acceptable. Just know that we might put you to work strapping cars down!!!!!
:-)
This is NOT a PCA function, but rather a 928 Owners Club function. That
being said, I/we welcome any and all P-cars that want to join the
festivities. Only issue is total alloted time for the dyno. We'll run as
many cars through as we can, but the 928OC members that "want" to dyno get
first dibs on the running order. (I hope you understand, as it's not meant
to be offensive in any way whatsoever) Some of the 928 guys just want to
watch, not dyno. But any rate, I wanted to extend an invite to all our P-car
brothers and sisters out there to come join us. I can be reached via e-mail
at: Biguns928gt@charter.net or by home phone at: 864-968-2668. I hope to
hear from some of you folks, as this promises to be a great Porsche day!!!!!

Thanks for replying Jim, since no one else will !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only one more day to decide folks. I know there are more of you guys in the Charlotte, Atlanta, and Columbia areas that could make it for a one day only "cheap" 928 day. Hell, even if you don't bring the 928, at least come for the fellowship and food. All are welcome, so bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
