Hi all. I looked around to see if there was a more appropriate spot for this question but didn’t see one. I wanted to see if there is an affordable 4 post lift that anyone can recommend. It would make life much easier and free up some space in the barn. Any suggestions or anyone want to sell one? Lol
Lots of "affordable" 4 post lifts which are foreign metals and made overseas. No thanks.
The Backyard Buddy or Advantage Lifts are the best design, and have many similarities.
If looking for a deal, find a used one on Craigslist. I got one for 1/3 cost. It ended up being cheaper than the overseas garbage I could flex open with my bare hands. Better quality, better price. Hope this helps.
Awesome. Looks like a copy of the BB lift with the closed posts and you've got 2 great cars there. That's coming from a fellow.914 and 928 enthusiast.
What's the story on the 928 project?
The 928 was a fire victim but previously to that it had tons and tons of records. I just replaced all the sensors, wiring harnesses, radiator, fans, injectors, hoses and have it ready for paint next week.
The wildfire was the only lift that gave me 6 foot under it with the 914-6 on top. Also bought the air over hydraulic jack tray for it.

Ps nice cars
Nice.
My Backyard Buddy is actuallactually. It uses the legs from their Extended height lift (7') with the decks from their trailer storage lift, so it's wide enough for my wakeboard boat trailer and then I had them make another set of decks that are placed inside of those so it's narrow enough for my 914. Have a rolling 30 qt drain pan and dual pneumatic bridge jacks so I can do suspension and brake work at a comfortable seated or standing height. Rated for 7000 lbs so I can work on the Cayenne or my pickup on it too and the ramps are wide wnoght to drop a 914 motor through.

Nice. I have a malibu response though not a wake board seems we have similar interests. My ceiling is 10 foot 4 so I have good options.
