If you already have Bilsteins installed and just need them repaired/refreshed you can send them to the Bilstein Technical Center in SoCal. Depending on time of year it can take a bit to get them back but the service is top notch. Had mine done a few years ago for something like $100/shock.

I bought a set of Konis. Will be going that route instead. Thanks everyone!

Man..thats...well, 474's you can still get, are such a better choice IMHO.

Koni makes good stickers and magazine ads.

Just got a set of rebuilt early Bilsteins back from rebuilding- $405 including new lower bushings. Asked them not to paint them, like the patina look but they have all new guts in them.

Notes from Bilstein, for whatever it's worth:

All four dampers are in good condition for service.
Lower mount bushings on green dampers need to be replaced with E4-GV1-Z059A00.
Lower mount bushing on the other pair are marginal and we would recommend replacement as well (E4-GV1-Z059A01).

4 x SA001 REBUILD STANDARD SHOCK - $95.00/each = $380.00
2 x E4-GV1-Z059A00 Gummimetallverbindung - $6.48/each = $12.96
2 x E4-GV1-Z059A01 Gummimetallverbindung - $4.65/each = $9.30

Gummimetallverbindung?

Is that a safe word?

Anywho I just took delivery on them today. Gonna do 1 turn firm on the front and start with a 1/4 turn in the back. Then I'll put some new threaded collars on them. Last I saw, these need to be JB Welded in place.

Google translation say: Gummimetallverbindung means rubber-to-metal compound.
I think that is a bad translation, it should be rubber-to-metal-connection.
