AC Condenser threads mangled
Condenser threads are mangled after removing old dryer. I'm thinking an aftermarket condenser is appropriate, but I am concerned that a universal condenser from an auto parts store, while relatively inexpensive, may not directly line up with the Kuehl's dryer. I could try to clean up the threads but they are for some reason pretty chewed up. Completely fine below the dryer nut where before there was no contact.
BTW, the threads seemingly mangled as I was backing off the dryer. I counter held the condenser as I slowly backed off the dryer and still this happens. Are the threads on the condenser aluminum? I suppose I could get some hose made to connect the dryer and the aftermarket condenser, but the idea is to keep costs down. Please advise.

I have condensers for S4. If you check and they fit, I can sell you one, and can get another dryer (I think locally) okbarnett@tampabay.rr.com
