As most folks know, I'm looking to collect all 3 Porsche models from 1983 (911, 944, 928), each in Guards Red with black interior. The trio is for driving, so some pristine, concourse-edition garage queen isn't necessary, just good paint, interior, and maintenance schedule kept up.

Anyway, I'm wondering if there's a decent chance some 928s will be in the car corral at Hershey. I've never been and don't know how the selection would be, and don't want to bother if there isn't much - the fewer cars, the worse odds there'll be an '83 in my desired scheme.

Why do people who want to sell a car on eBay not invest the $1.00 and get the picture pack that makes the images BIGGER?

Ha ha Chuck,

I'm sure it is because the seller really doesn't want you to see bigger pictures...

I saw that one on eBay but honestly, if I were going to spend that sort of money I'd go ahead and get an S4 or GT. I'm running into that a lot, actually - people asking more for a 240hp model (often in lousy shape) than I've seen very nice S2s and S4s go for. The bane of Porsche shopping is everyone thinks theirs is a classic, when it's just old. I'm sorely tempted to sell these and collect '87s instead.
