Jim ... yes, if you drive a Honda Element, maybe I read that actually, the Element is so aerodynamically inefficient, that as you go faster, the nose and windshield actually glow :P

Heinrich the Element is thankfully governor restricted to 110 MPH otherwise that 160 HP would have that nose glowing ....... I doubt it would freefall from 10,000 ft very fast either ......

thats still ok. 153 average, with stops. as long it wasnt a punishing road course, the car wouldnt have even shown signs of wear. 928s can run and run and run. my 2 years of racing and commuting to the track and 8000miles later, im sure ive tripled the wear component. and guess what, aside from those lost cam teeth, the compression is 180psi to 185psi across all cylinders, with oilchanges showing no debri or dirty film on either the filter internals or the magnetic drain plug. nothing!!!
(still knockng on wood)

That's 152mph AVERAGE with fuel stops included. My guess is that it's very familiar with life above 4500 RPM.

I'm thinkin relive Bonneville on the way to the 928 OC convention in July.
Take that sumbee-hosh up to the new record in the salt flats. We'll send Tony Harkin a stopwatch to clock yer *** Mark, and then coast into Whichita!

A fitting end and a no Bull**** ride to to Kansas. That way you can shut everyone up, get your Arss on the covers of Excellence, Forum, 911 Porsche world, and crap, even hot rod mag!

Just get those friggin teeth fixed would ya!!

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
