I'm still waiting for parts. If they make it in the next couple of days there is still a chance I'll be there.

Bill, I was wondering, how do you get the Cyclone ECU to work on the V8, isn't the Cyclone a V6? (firing 8 injectors insted of 6)
Good to see everything is going well.

Yes, the Syclone is a V6, but the 749 has a cylinder select byte allowing 4, 6, or 8 cylinder operation.

Ahhh, that explains it. I may have to source one of those to play with.

This ECU sounds very interesting; can you provide a link for more information?

Do you know what the max MAF voltage, or max boost, the ECU can recognize?

Most importantly, are you able to alter the fuel tables?

There's a ton of info on the diy-efi web site... http://www.diy-efi.org/gmecm/ecm_info/1227749/

No MAF, it's a MAP system. Stock it's set up for a 2 bar MAP sensor. The Syclone guys have modified it for a 3 bar MAP sensor. Tables are fully editable and there are numerous graphical editors for the calibration parameters. I'm using TunerCat (http://www.tunercat.com) and Promgrammer (available at the SyTy web site) for altering the calibration parameters, and DataMaster for logging data. The code has been disassembled and commented listings are available if you need that level of detail.

Remove the "." (period) at the end of the link, and it should work fine. I had the same problem.
