Good info on this subject. Have not heard too many with the leak at the base of the water manifold, also afflicting my '89. Thought I had to remove the intake to remove water man. Was going to be my excuse to powder coat manifold Still need to check vacuum lines and knock sensors. though.... so looks like I still get to powdercoat.
