Default Can I sort my tumblers to a known pattern then have a key made?

(my car has been parked for over two years while I've been working like crazy, starting a new biz....I started back on the 928 over the weekend...I'm the "knowledge" seems to have significantly evaporated..lol!)
So, I have no key for my door locks. I have the driver's side handle out right now, so I could take apart the lock and arrange the tumblers to a known pattern. It it possible to have a key made if the pattern is known? I'm assuming I can arrange the tumblers for the hatch lock to match and use the same key....true?

I'll probably add a keyless entry while I'm at it....I've been searching for the diagram for installation in a no alarm 84. I know I've seen it, but I can't seem to find it now...

Kevin,
Do you still have a key to the ignition? If so, just rearrange the door lock tumblers to match your ignition key, so you only have to carry a single key for access and running of the car, and yes, the rear hatch can be re-keyed to match the ignition key as well. then just get a duplicate of the ignition key made.

If you need a hand re-keying any of it, just reach out and I'll be happy to give you a hand,

I am assuming that i'll figure out how to tell when the tumblers are able to drop into a slot that aligns correctly to the cut of the key...I've never done that before. I'll give it a shot! Thx!

There is an article linked in the New Visitors thread about rekeying the locks, #59.

All in all, fiddly but not too hard to accomplish.
I've pulled my ignition tumbler and cleaned/straightened the blades. Also rekeyed the driver's door lock and the gas cap lock to match the rest of the car.

Right there is a great thread on here how to do it, and there are only four different "tumblers" each numbered 1 - 4 (stamped)
there are four position on the bottom and six on the top of the lock cyl. you just pull them (tumblers) out of the cyl, the little springs should stay in-place in the cyl.
I just re-keyed an Ignition for a friend over the summer, it had been awhile and had to re-learn it
