window trim snaps broke on 1982 928
I had to remove the inside window trim to install a new window seal on my driver door. When I pulled the trim off a few snaps broke off and one broke in half. Does anyone know where I can get replacement clips? I have a good material to reattach them, but I'm missing one now.
Also, does anyone have any tips on properly installing the window seal? I'm having trouble getting it seated correctly.
Thanks,
Camelman

The seal...is just a snug press fit into the channel, no clips or anything, certainly no glue.
The trim..Ive neve had to repair one, a good proper epoxy, or poly glue...or replacement..

What about the beed that fits into the narrow slot on the outside of the window? I'll try to post an image of it, but it's hard to get inserted correctly.
Any idea where to buy a replacement clip?

did you use any DC111 on the outer window seal channels?
If not get a tube of it from amazon and a syringe,
inject the stuff into the small channel then spread it with a tooth brush,
do the whole channel.
wipe a lil bit onto the seals ribs and start at the back edge and work forwards.
NOTE this job is best done on a warm day in the sun, with the door panel and felt window pads removed.
NOTE wear gloves and take care to not get the DC111 on the felt side of the wiper seal or the glass
