Default Horn random honk

I seem to have developed a strange repeatable random honk with my horn. When accelerating from a stop and turning slightly left, my horn will give a short beep. Any thoughts on where to look. I believe I remember speaking to someone about an adjustment on the contact ring on this. Anyone?

/The ring under the wheel is more than likely bent/broken.

Is that a separate part or replaceable. I just spent $350 getting the wheel custom recovered by Robb Budd.

I personally doubt it is that.

Most likely what has happened is that the upper bearing and the bushing for the steering shaft has failed and is causing it to make contact under load when turning.

A fairly inexpensive fix, just annoying to fish out the bearings if they fell apart.

The horn contact ring is available separately from Roger, but I agree that's it's play front the bearing that allowing the occasional contact.
