Default One more "bare shell" fitting to identify (please)

I'm nearly afraid to ask again ................ but does anyone know what this was for ? (The approx M10 threaded bit - on a sub bracket spot welded as photographed) Notes : It's a Right Hand Drive car , and the car is totally upside down. Fitting is in the recess behind the opening with the studs round it (hopefully in the first photo ?) If memory serves me right - the fan blower assy was bolted in here. I am 99% sure there was nothing attached to this mystery fitting .... which does make me wonder why it was there. before I cut it off and grind the surface flat ..... what was it for anyone ? Odd in that there is only one of them (ie not for a large heavy assembly to be bolted to) - and if it was / is supposed to be an earthing point - it's done in a way different to other earthing points on the car..... and it was not used !

This is fitting in question.

My guess is thats for the alarm horn.
No alarm then its not used, and a RHD machine will have this anchor on the left side of the cowl panel

That would make sense - I assume alarm horn is relatively big and heavy ??

Surprisingly heavy for what it is. Maybe 1.5 kilos?
