Default Ignition system testing

So, after reinstalling my distributor, it seems I have no spark. Was working fine before I yanked it to replace the vacuum advance.

it seems I have no spark. My green wire is new. Continuity tests out.

My question: can I spin the distributor shaft by hand fast enough to be able to generate a spark from the coil?
