Default Ignition switch replaced, instrument cluster warning lights, faulty gauges solved

Just wanted to add a solution to the archive.

Issue: ‘90 Gt, instrument cluster warning lights not working, fuel gauge intermittent, oil pressure gauge and digital odometer displays working, volt and temp gauges not working, tach would only work once lights were turned on. Pulled pod, checked bulbs and gauge connections and they were all good, so I cleaned contacts, grounds, fuses and reinstalled. Still the same issues. Replaced ignition switch, fixed all above issues. There was no issues with starting or shutting off the car with the old ignition switch, just the cluster issues. Hope this helps someone, cheers
