Default 1987 S4 Oil “cooler” Lines

Does anyone have a resource to have engine oil lines rebuilt for a 1987 928 S4? My local shops don’t do metric. Thank you.

Have you looked for a local Pirtek? They have places everywhere and is who I used to rebuild my power steering high pressure line. I know that they have offices globally and other members have used them in the UK for rebuilding, so there is experience in the company with metric lines and fittings.

Good luck

It’s easy enough to buy new lines or order a set from Greg Brown he makes new oil lines

Note don’t buy lines that have a stainless outer wrap as they will saw trough anything they touch

Thank you for the recommendations. I’ve emailed Precision for availability.

We dutifully look at the Emails sent to Precision Motorwerks once every couple of weeks.
Send your inquiry to GregBBRD@aol.com. I look at this email several times a day.

$295 for stainless cover PTFE
$395 for Kevlar covered PTFE.
Plus $100 core charge until you return your old hoses, in rebuildable condition.

We make these up, as we need them/get orders.
We do have the ends ready to crimp hose onto.

We stock the set of hoses for $239.

PTFE lined hose is 4-10 times the cost of rubber hose.
And lasts forever, since it doesn't shrink.
(Which is why your current hoses are leaking.)

Because of this, I'm able to offer a lifetime guarantee on all of our hoses. (Both fuel and oil.)
