I'll second that!

Its a long depressing story. Bottom line, time was right (about 7-8 years ago), founders money was tight and I was brought in late (to late as it turns out) and the money ran out. Was a good concept that with a bit more money would have gotten off the ground. Had advertisers lined up and plenty of contributors for articles at little or no cost. Its much easier to publish a slick magazine today then it was then with all the desk top publishing tools.

I had to laugh when I saw how few miles some of the owners had on these cars (20000 for one!) Come -on! You got to at least have put a timing belt in a 928 before you have had it long enough to know what's up!

Are any of those other owners on rennlist? I would like to know how "hands-on" they are. Also, what about 928 Forum Mag? is it still published? - Ruf

Rufus,

There are a few of those owners here.....

Geez, you probably would have fallen out of your chair if you had read the miles on my 95.... did I mention it didn't make the cut. 10k and I'd say I'm pretty hands on, done all the preventative maintenance too!

Hi Ruf,
I own one of the cars and am semi hands on. Fitted cats, oil change and lots of smaller stuff. In the middle of stripping all the brakes and doing pads, painting calipers and bleeding the whole system.
Going to clean all the wheel wells now that Chuck has set a precedent.
I am learning fast though with the help of all the experts on rennlist.
My latest problem is failed emission test - see thread.
Best,
Roger
