Got it running with new diaphragms and bushing.

Pretty quick work using the blocks as templates. I hand twisted the drill bits through the block holes into the cardboard while firmly pressing the blocks down to keep the (1/32 fiberglass reinforced) silicone from shifting. For the centers I used the old gasket to draw a circle and then used the washer.

The red diaphragm ought to be worth 10 BHP extra!

Well... silicone works well for the vacuum side but is not a good choice for the pressure side. Gas was streaming out of the lower assembly under 80+psi fuel pressure after the gasket squeezed out of the sides.

Replaced the lower gasket with 1/16 fabric reinforced Buna-N rubber and all is well.

EG.

If you are not ready to swap over to the bigger injectors and back to a stock-type FPR, I have a lightly-used Vortech FMU from my murf SC kit available. Includes the stainless-steel braided hoses as well. PM me if interested.

Thank you for the offer but at least for the moment it runs great with the silicone/rubber combo. Though I am probably happy in ignorance without a working WBO2 installed to see the rough fueling it is getting.

I definitely should have done more research on using silicone in gasoline before using it for the 'wet' side!
