Default Clutch way too high , but not worn.

Hi all , just working through issues with my Manual 83 euro s . The clutch pedal and biting point is very high and acts more like an on off switch. Weve had the lower bell housing off and there is loads of meat left on the plates. Just wondering if anyone has any advice on what i can check or adjust to get things right again. Best regards to all .

What is the very last of the part number cast into the T/O bearing release fork?
06, 07, 08, or 09? (I'm betting '09.)

Ah ive just checked with my friends garage and its off the ramp now and been transported back to my home ( the cars not legal to drive yet ) . Can the p/n be seen with the cover back on and me lying underneath ? If not ill have a look when its up in the air next. Just as a matter of interest what would be the significance of that 09 part number ? Thanks

This thread will answer your question. I just went through the -09 experience with my 83 Euro S.
