I have a local shop that does CAD plating, they even clean the parts. In goes ugly, out comes "like" new. That's why I've got this thread going as I want to get the lines near perfect bends before I take them down.

For the oil canister breather issue, I currently use a canister too. Good point that plugging it won't solve the problem either. I'll have to think about this more. Want it to look stock, but stop/eliminate the oil suction. Maybe conceal an extra hose fitted to the underside of that breather pipe might do the trick.
