Is that a label or some sort of "coating" on the skirt?

Hey Tony,
Do you know what kind of machine work is involved in getting that piston to work? I had looked up a source for them in the US too. But IIRC after looking at the distance from the center of the wrist pin to he top of the piston I thought it would take new rods or something to work in our cars.
