Curt, what can I say? You are setting a higher bar every year. It was great to see you and the regulars and newbies. This is the first Camp 928 at which I drove other cars than my own - first 928 with a blower (thanks Zack), first 928 stickshift (thanks Scott), and first "Caprice SS"! (On the other hand, it is NOT the first Camp 928 at which the fun run couldn't follow the directions.)
I had a blast and continue to marvel at your capacity for hospitality. Many thanks to you and Nancy, and please keep them going.
Curt and Nancy's generosity and warmth outdid the generally excellent weather. I hope that one blackfly that attacked me was eaten by the chorus of frogs Saturday night.

The only scenario I see for "Camp 928C" is a U.S. announcement just prior to August 21 that the border will open the 21st, and scheduling Camp 928C for August 28. Not a great scenario. Given Labor Day, not wanting to interfere with Frenzy, my own travel schedule, and the way the weather quickly turns in Fall, that's the only possible weekend.
Not making any decisions yet, but those are my thoughts.
A possible work-around is for me to schedule a general gathering for August 28th, for my other car friends, local and distant. Open to all 928 owners who can manage to come. I'll give that some thought.
Obviously, the August 28th idea didn't happen, among bleak prospects for a return to normalcy at the border and otherwise.
Looking forward to a CanAm Camp 928 next year!

Items of Interest: Driveway is being paved today, made arrangements only yesterday; estimator owns a 356A, recently sold a 911S. Sold the Saab last week to the 17-year-old son of an Audi dealership manager, who once owned a 928 GTS. Bought a Bobcat yesterday, suddenly, after seeing an ad in the morning. Sold the Caprice SS last night to a guy completely gonzo over it, been looking for years, from an ad I posted Sunday. (Me: you'll still get pulled over for driving while Black. Him: I don't care - I'll just jump in the back and tell 'em to take me in. He's a corrections officer in one of our many fine prisons up north.) Tesla Model S should arrive in a few weeks. Living the dream here, but I'll need a rest day tomorrow.
