Nice wheel!
Here are the various rims that could be found on these 1986 to 1991 928's.
S4 rim
CS Design, without RDK for 1988 CS/SE and 1989 USA/Canada GT, with RDK for RoW 1989 GT.
Design 90, for 1990/1991 GT and in option for 1990/1991 S4 (Code M400)
Winter rims, with or without RDK depending of the MY and market.

I do like the D90s and Snow rims - not that I ever plan to drive in snow.
I snagged the CS wheel photo in my last post from a dealer in Germany to replace the CS wheels currently on the car that a PO had diamond cut and removed the eyebrows..
Hope all is well with you and you are staying safe

And the heated sport seats (with adj reostat dial on the switch) are the best seats Porsche made for the 928!

As shown in the manual, the 89GT had the Klingelnberg Palloid cut rear differential gear. My understanding of this is that it's not straight cut gears and not bevel cut gears but a compromise between power transmission and noise, leaning towards more power and more noise over quieter operation.
The thing about the 89GT that amazes me is the approach Porsche took to optimize all the small details that in the end resulted in a spectacular package overall.

I had two Baltic Blue 1990 928GT'S , Believe one according to Chuck Z, got totaled shortly after I sold it to a someone in California, I actually preferred the 1989GT model, Love the Club Sport Forged Wheels.Great cars all around.

Were these an original option?
I haven't pulled them to check their part numbers , but the 1991 PET doesn't show them as an option so I am assuming PO substituted them from a 993 or a 968?

No GT was officially delivered with Cup wheels, but CS design for 1989 and Design 90 for 1990 and 1991.
I strongly advised to swap back to D90, even if it is sometime difficult to find the right tyres.

I do have an unusual request: Could-you, please, share pictures of the 1989 928 GT's that were used on US or Canadian promotional material and/or early press test?
I would like to focus on 1989 only, so check the CS rims!
TIA.
