What appears to be a third connection on the solenoid valve for the "flappy" (aka intake resonance valve) is NOT a vacuum connection but rather a vent. The solenoid valve is a three way valve. When de-energized, the solenoid valve port going to the vacuum actuator for the resonance valve is connected to the vent port on the solenoid, releasing the vacuum and letting the diaphragm in the flappy valve actuator return to the rest position. When energized, the vacuum source port is connected to the flappy valve actuator port, drawing vacuum on the diaphragm and moving the lever to change the position of the flappy valve. The connection that comes straight out the bottom of the solenoid valve should be connected to the vacuum source. The connection that is 90 degrees to the axis of the solenoid should be connected to the flappy actuator. The vent port is on the top of the solenoid and is protected by a vented plastic cap. If the two connections at the bottom of the solenoid are reversed you introduce a constant vacuum leak that is present until the solenoid is activated to move the resonance valve.

Glad to help. I chased a persistent vacuum leak for a year after my first intake refresh and felt really bright when I discovered those two connections reversed.
