To install it on my "expirienced" car required a bit of light filing, and parking the car near a wall. Then, a friend and I sat back to back, his feet pushing on the wall, mine on the spoiler. A third came in quickly to bolt it in place. Having a friend or two to hold and shove while you bolt is very handy.

Heat the spoiler to get it loosened, but remember that doing it on a hot will make you sweat more, too. Good luck

From all the advice this sounds like a true project. ( Get out the beer and Ice) and wait for a warm day.

Thanks for the tips , I am looking forward to the aggravation. But I hope I have learned my lesson on pulling up to close.

Cool

Be careful with torque on the tiny bolts attached to the spoiler. I popped one out trying to get the plastic flush with the body. The old spoiler is a little bit too distorted to fit perfectly.

Well. The build date is September 1979 so a real early S. Everything looked to fit nice, before I did a sudden restructuring. One duct was too restructured to put back on.

The old one is metal and the "new" one is plastic. Look the same from the front and the square duct tube behind it to the brake fits fine.
