Default Brake Rotors

Hi, I need to replace all discs (F & R) due to under min dimension. Local supplier has Zimmermann brand, does any one have comment / experience on this brand. PS I have a 1985 928S (4.7ltr 16V), thanks

Zimmerman is the OE supplier for the 928 rotors. They are quite sufficient.

And... Welcome to Rennlist!

Great information, Bob!
I was not aware that Zimmerman was the OE supplier to Porsche, for the 928. ...

If you pay attention, you can learn something new, every day!

Zimmerman is a great brand and OE.

As an option, I also recommend www.brakeperformance.com, they also have a 35% off sale right now.

I bought my last few sets of rotors and pads from them and they incl. the hardware (rattle clips and pad sliders at no extra charge).

Installed on my '88 S4:

I have the brake performance rotors on my 90GT and Cayenne S. No issues at all. I went with the slotted rotors as I had a bad experience with drilled rotors (not from them) in the past so typically stay away from them
