Well I finally bought my lift. I spent about a 6-months looking for the right size and color that I needed. I had to buy a lift that would not go too high or be too long so that I had room for my Harley. I had to have the tracks on my garage raised to the highest possible setting to clear the rear end of my cars. And enough room to have the lift as close as possible to the door with enough of an opening to get the cars out of the garage. Most of the lifts i found were to narrow and too long. I didn't want to have to thread a needle every time I drove one of the cars on or off. The clearance is a 6" wider than the opening of the garage door so its plenty of room.

1662,
That is a beautiful set up!
How much clearence is there when stepping in and out of the lower car? (can you bump you head?)
Now for the real question..... how much?
Mike

This is great!
One question, though: In the picture it looks like there is no access to the upper car from underneath. In other words: It looks like you could not use the lift to make any under-car repairs.
On the other hand, that might prevent any potential fluids from dripping on the lower car. I guess you can't have everything...

Is it my eyes or does the 928 really look small compared to the boxster?
The 928 wheels are classic but they sure do date the car when you see the rims on the boxster.
Love the set up. Now you need good flooring to really set it all off!
Hmmm? how high is your ceiling in the 928 bay? How wide is the door?

Nicole,
Car is fully accessable from underneath, if this is a Superlift. They sell optional drip trays in case you need them.
Lifts are about $3K delivered.
