Default what is the bosch number for knock sensors?

just as the title states... i have a chance to get some knock sensors for cheap.

I'm assuming that the 928 uses sensors from bosch. If so, what's the bosch number? Thanks!

IIRC if you look for the part # for a late 80s to mid 90s car then practically all are the same. What are you going to hook them to?

not sure yet, but if I ever plan to get knock sensing, i'll need the sensors... and i might have a really good lead on a couple.

The Bosch numbers I have are:

0.261.231.008 (early)
0.261.231.036 (late)

I think those numbers more closely fit the Bosch part numbering system.

Deos anyone know the difference between these two knock sensors? I'm installing a '91 motor into a GTS, and don't know which one to use.

Later ones are cheaper but have gold plated connectors. Lots have used them on the earlier cars without issues. I do have the GP connectors if you need to update the harness end.
Price from us is $60 v $46.
