Had a great birthday (9/28) and received lots of texts and prank 928 calls. Unfortunately, it was raining most of the day and did not get to drive one of them... Arrrrgh!
I guess its part of why I collect/drive these wonderful cars, sort of a moral imperative since not many of us get a car named after our birthdate, much less a great car named after ur birthdate!
Imagine having 6/26 as your birthday? Would you go out and collect Mazda 626's. ??? HELL NO!
Bad luck that I did not get out and drive one of them, but I did go to the garage and give em a little admiration (tipped back a little Whistle Pig in their honor).
So - Here"s to all of us crazies that enjoy these cars - - - whatever our reasoning...
Cheers!

That's awesome. Unfortunately for me, with a July birthday, probably the only car I could collect in the 7s would either be a really big BMW or a Peugeot. No thanks - I'll continue to celebrate your birthday with my car choices. Actually ended up driving both the 914 and the 928 today, while wearing a 928 shirt in celebration of the day.

So apparently the state of Michigan has a thing for 928s too! When I bought the car and went to pay tax and registration, it was $928! That was in April. 5 months later I finally get all of the historic plate stuff straightened out, and yesterday the historic plate showed up in the mail on 928 day! What are the odds of both those things happening unless there's a closet shark freak working at the secretary of state? (That's a dmv to those of you living in less 928 friendly states.
