Vertical heat shields on engine carrier

UPDATE:
Yesterday we put the heat shields on the engine carrier. When we did, I discovered that I missed the "curve" that was in the original heat shield to help it fit over the steering rack:
It wasn't in direct contact, but barely clear so we added a piece of closed cell foam:
Both installed on the engine carrier, I'm very happy with the result:
Now on to filling the engine bay again before we can put the engine back in.

Well done for your restoration, the engine bay will look awesome !
I’m restoring a friend’s forgotten 1985 928s since almost a year and I did just change the engine mounts and restored everything around it.
The problem now...the heat shields are almost gone...
I was wondering if it would be possible to have a pair of the ones you made for your car as in Rome where the 928 sits I am struggling to find someone who can make the job...
