I think it is legit. I've bought items from Alibaba and all have been fine.
But this isn't a simple DC power supply or acid brushes.
While I'd trust Chinese acid brushes to apply glue or a simple power supply to light a sign or christmas light with something bought at this level,
I'd never put a new $2.00 water pump on my 928.

Is that the early or the late pump? If late, I'm good for 10 if they have a plastic impeller and a lifetime limited warranty...

Might be worth to buy a few to dissect and compare to the higher market pumps. I think everyone here already suspects the result.
if China could produce cheap throw away belly pans or front spoilers; I would be tempted to buy some of those up in a heartbeat.

I talked to the seller in China, his name is Danny. Seems to be a nice fellow. They do not have any water pumps, but he is going to send me a catalog. LOL
