Default Not cranking and buzzing sound

Hello all, 84 Euro AT transmission here.,
I need some assistance with an all of a sudden not cranking condition. Vehicle drove fine 3 weeks ago as it has for the last few years with no problems. I only have the opportunity to drive it about once every 3 weeks. I keep the vehicle on a battery maintainer always ,but for some reason it disconnected and the battery was dead. I have had a battery drain for years now and cannot determine where it comes from. All fuses have been pulled etc.. and every darn thing on the renlist that i learned from everyone believe me, i have tried. The last thing i need to check is if the alternator which does not go through any fuse is doing it.
Anyway, I recharged with 6 amps for about 30 minutes. Have strong interior and exterior lights, but the car does not crank at all. Also there is a new buzzing sound coming from right behind the radio. I am thinking maybe a HVAC diaphram but i dont think that would have anything to do with it not cranking would it ? Any ideas ?

from a dead battery charging at 6 amps figure the battery needs to charge for about 6 hours,
based on your report the battery is done .

NOTE dont continue to start the car till a fully charged battery is installed as damage to the starting relays can occur if it hasnt already occurred.

NOTE sine you know you have a drain it would be prudent to DISCONNECT the battery when you park the car so the new battery stays isolated till your ready to use it.

NOTE a battery maintainer is a good idea unless you have a battery drain then you should follow the suggestion to disconnect the battery.

NOTE get an IR gun, put the windows down, remove the CE panel wood cover, and the parcel tray.
verify the rear door edge lamps go out when the doors are closed.
drive the car for a few miles then park it,
shoot the Relays on your CE panel see what ones are warm.
close the doors verify lamps out looking into the door will answer this question.
wait 15 mins come back and lean in and shoot the relays again any warm relay needs to be investigated

A severely discharged battery will often not recover and even if it looks like it recovered, will often not have full capacity or full amp delivery again. Start with a new battery and fully charge it outside the car before installing it, and the car will probably start up just fine.

+1. I bought a brand new battery from O'Reilly's and took it home put it on the batt. minder and it was only 70% charged....definitely do as instructed and charge that brand new battery to full before installing.
