Default Brake line flares ISO/DIN v SAE

I ordered some SS brake hoses for an '89 here in the UK (Goodridge) & noticed that they came with a SAE 45 deg flare (the female side to the 3rd from left) for fitting onto the hard lines on the car, I questioned them & they checked their stock & they all are SAE for Porsche cars, are the USA made ones SAE as well or the proper ISO/DIN spec as they should be?

I just checked my early car 1979 and it has the DIN Mushroom flare.

Thanks, I did wonder if they changed during the years, obviously not.

And to my opinion the SAE flares should not be used on a car like Porsche Mercedes BMW that have the DIN bubble flares. It's like fitting a funnel to another different funnel and expect they fit perfectly. Regretably the original Coline lines are not available for a 928 but a full set is available for any 911. I used a piece from a BMW set.

I am not going to use them, the shop that sells them is looking into it, all the hard lines are available new in the UK/Europe for the 928, that's not a problem

I'm a stocking Goodridge distributor....sometimes I'm embarrassed to say so. Not the easiest company to do business with...and not run by people with great insight. I spend a tremendous amount of time, shaking my head in wonderment, after dealing with them.

I just got done "straightening them out" on the 4 different brake line kits they offer, over here, for all the different years of 928's.
They had a mixture of different incorrect hoses, from one kit to the next, with no clue of why.

I just opened a couple of boxes of their hoses for '86-'95 928 (part #37020) and they are correct, over here.

Thanks, I ordered my for a 89, they came in made up for a pre 86 car, on querying it they said Goodridge only had one pattern for 928's which they made them to, I provided the old hoses & they made them to them ok, then I noticed the SAE flare!!!
