these will fit an early car and kick out the stock wheels/ tires to the fenders
Measure first both sides , use the lowest measurement from the tire sidewall to the inner lip of the fender,
NOTE this has to be 5 MM more than the spacers to fit,
EG spacer 35mm plus 5 mm = 40

So min measurement from tire wall to to fender lip must be 40mm on the closest side.

NOTE its possible with gloved hands to pull the lower edges of the fenders out a few MM to give you a bit more room

I'm a bit confused.

35mm spacer plus 5mm would be 40mm from the side of the tire to the inside of the fender.

Where does the '45' come from?

Joe I am sorry,
I put 45MM in my example instead of 40 MM.
Sorry for the confusion.
I corrected my post thanks for the proofreading

Yeah, though you might be somewhat prejudiced seeing that it is your vehicle.

I think mine are 32mm...I could have probably squeezed in 37s. Mine are el cheapos, hub centric on car side, but not wheel side, not recommended for track or high speeds....yours are nice...GLWS

I may be interested too. My 85 has stock spacers on the rears, which measure 10 mm. The car has the standard flat dish wheels. I tried putting my cup 3's on the rears (extra set from my Carrera). They are 18's, 10" wide, with 58 mm offsets. The tires are Mich SS, size 265/40. Without spacers they rub the inside liner. With the spacers, they stick too far out, and hit the fender lip. I am not going to roll the fenders for this (and don't want to), so I figured spacers around 5 mm will work. These spacers may be a little too thin, but maybe not. Stan, you have the same wheels, what do you think?
