Default Is there a fix for this? Temp Sensor Wiring

The temp sensor connector is bare wire at the circled area that they are already touching. Is there a good fix for this? I appreciate any tips.

And if not fixable, anyone know the part number? Is this part readily available at any auto store? Thanks!

That is an AMP 2-pin connector. It can be re-taped and fixed up, or you can cut it off, get a new connector, and crimp on new pins (provided with connector).
Amazon Amazon
Good luck,
Dave

Get with Roger, he's got them in stock. Cut that one off, put the boot on, new crimps then slide in the connector and plug it back in.

^^ This!^^ Do it like you mean it. Be sure to get the right crimping tool for those Amp pins. You'll use it for many other connectors in the car, so might as well get it now and do them all correctly. eg: Same connector on fuel injectors, other temp sensors, and same pins in MAF, knock sensors, Hall Sensor, CPS, ... You get the idea.
