Default front shocks mounting brackets difference

hi, a question for the experts....

I recently took home some 928 spare part from an old guy who restored a 928 S. a 1981 one. I have at least 3 -4 front schocks brackets for each side , 928 341 092 05 and 091 05.
As brackets on my 1992 GTS are starting to rust slightly, can I use them? on PET 1992 GTS needs 928 341 091 and 092 with final 06 .
is it a shape and function difference or just something else? I ask because exhaust tips I recently bought came with a different part number (final 03 instead 04, but they were identical).

Thanks

PS: if not compatible I have something to sell ....

They're not compatible, the upper portion geometry is different and the studs are shorter on the later cars:

Those brackets match with the earlier lower A arm for model years up to about 1986 and the components are not interchangeable with later models. However, if one wants to go to more extreme cambers, if you stick one of those brackets and the arm it goes with into an S4 or GTS it increases the camber adjustment range by about 3 degrees negative- thus if the curernt range were zero to minus 2 degrees the new range would become about minus 3 to minus 5 degrees of camber.

On my late S4 when I was looking for minus 2 degrees front camber on one side the camber maxxed out at just over 1 degree whereas the other side could get over minus 2 degrees. So, on the limited side I changed the lower arm/bracket for an earlier one and then I could get the range minus 1 to minus 3 degrees as I recall and minus 2 was an excellent setting for the front 265 Michelin Cup tyres I was running- the lateral grip was phenomenal.

Thanks, I will remove the originals and make replate them.
