I guess I have two questions. The headlights and driving lights work. I have no dash lights. If they did work - how do you adjust the brightness?

There is a wheel mounted up under the pod on the left side that adjusts the dash light brightness. Just get your head under the steering wheel and look up. You might have to rotate it back and forth a bit to get usable results. Mine needs cleaning, as it really doesn't work right.

The rheostat for brightness tends to age poorly. The wires also could get broken or otherwise disconnected. Mine's on the left side with a similar part on the right for the variable-speed wipers.

I'd try shorting those wires together. Could always be a ground or in the flexi-circuit on the back of the pod.

It was just turned down all the way. Kinda odd that they hid it like that.
Thanks.

It is mentioned in the owner's manual... Maybe they didn't want to clutter the nice layout on the front of the pod... maybe these were afterthoughts... ?

First of all, your instrument: speed/rpm panel is not going to light up LED like a newer model car. That was my first mistake. I cleaned the spring on the wheel and there was light. A few bulbs for the entire panel. For some reason, I was expecting a cool, orange-color 2009 model light set... hahaha (1978-928) just do watch a dim bulb go on and off....retro man!!!!
