I found a new shipper for ya, no excuses Ed , no affiliation, [edit: Not - Grand Tourismo Motorsports' quote for cross country was $2,550,]

Seriously, any references on shippers, I'm interested.

Yep, sums it up well. He lives near Marc White in Wichita. Marc has known Hoovie for years.

Maybe it is in the same company as the Bentley, Benzes and Lambo, but those cars drive better than just about any older 928.
I agree, there is no way the car in the video could have driven well at all (based on appearance and lack of maintenance) I meant 928s in general. I am biased as many of you in favor of the qualities of the 928, however, in retrospect they are antiquated dinosaurs. Personally, I enjoy the drivability of the 928 for its balanced handling and V8 american resonance. I have a 930 and 964 Turbo that I feel are equally and differently fun. But, the 928 is more fun with the family and sliding in the turns when I have a chance...my 5 and 10 year olds love the back seats, pop up headlights, and V8 rumble. I hope i can keep my dinosaur running into the future! All agreed on the rising costs of ownership, NLA parts, and (if I may add) temptation to buy any newer sports car with twice the performance made within the past 15 years is overwhelming. Anyway, thanks to all forum members for all their help over the years with my cars, keep motoring, and we are all lucky to have these rare vehicles IMO!! If you celebrate Easter....Happy Easter!!

Thread resurrection!

I happened on this video and was going to make a new thread challenging someone on the board to track down that car and restore it. Prove the Wizard wrong! It would be an awesome story....

I thought it was funny how everyone was mocking Hoovie. So I was at Petite LeMans in 2018 and ran into Hoovie there. I went up to him and said "Hoovie!" He quietly said hello and asked about what cars I drive. You could tell he was trying not to get recognized by a crowd. I got a picture with him. He seemed very nice, not pretentious in any way. Don't judge the photo, the Patron Tequila tent was friendly to me earlier that day....

I don't have a TV so I watch a lot of online car stuff incl hoovie. The wizard is a goof known for putting the wrong fluid in the wrong hole. All of Tyler's lambo's are sh1tboxes. He went to the pebble beach show a month ago for the countach debut and most of the old countachs broke down on the drive. .................. There are still very few cars under a couple hundred grand that can match a nice 928, all things considered.
