Default Muscle Rims On A 928?

I have these rims on my 944. They are muscle car rims (the PO put them on). I want to get something a lil more suitable for my car (18'' turbo twists) so i was thinking about selling these rims since i have the stock rims for my car also so i could sell these then put those on while i wait for my new rims. I was just wondering if you guys think these would look good on your cars or if anyone is interested in them. They are 16'' centerline rims. I dont have exact measurements but the back rims are super wide and the tire is 22'' tall. I was told by the previous owner that they were bought for $3400 but i dont know when they were bought (im guessing 8 or more years old). They are in great shape and i just brought my car into the shop and the mechanic complemented on the rims and said the rims were nice and must have been expensive and that the tires were sweet (it has yokohama track tires on it). Well just wondering what you guys thought about them...i have no idea how they would look on your cars but maybe some of you are interested?

They look great but IIRC the early 944 rims/wheels have the wrong offset for a 928.

Wouldnt you be able to get spacers to make them fit?

Just a quick look tells me they don't have enough offset. The 928 requires a lot of backspacing, that is, the mounting flange is near to the outside edge of the wheel.

Yes I think if you weighed and compared them to stock 944 rims and they (look like aluminium) are ligher -- you will find many 86 and earlier 944 owners who will grab them, particularly '86 951 for which there are precious few wheel options other than the drop-dead Fuchs with which they cam optionally, or the phone dials stockers.
