well drove her about 50 miles today, getting use to it, totally different than my 911's. of course thats why i wanted another 928 in my garage after 15 or more years. so far i like it a lot, everything seems "right" about this car, pulls hard and drives really well. fingers crossed

only thing i may wanna change is the wheels, if you have a black 928 with after market wheels plz post a pic with make and size, i would really appreciate it

18s (8s & 10s) that fit over the 330mm GTS big black front brakes. Similar design to the TechArt formulas but with better front offsets for the 928. Made by CMS.

Default Carrera Lightweights

Carrera Lightweight Wheels

Fronts: 18x8 ET 50
225/40ZR-18 Continental ExtremeContact DW

Rears: 18x10 ET 65
275/35ZR-18 Continental ExtremeContact DW

The fronts (ET 50) are not the ideal offset. Stock is ET 65.

Any of the Panamera 18 inch wheels fit vert well. Fronts have an ET of 59 so are much better than a lot of other wheels at an ET of 50. I have used both the 10 spoke and 5 spoke.

Here are the 5 Spoke on my 90 GT

I think I'd contact Augment and have them bang out a set of 17" Clubsport-look wheels- 17x8.5 ET 70, and 17x9.5 ET 52.

Congrats on the purchase.

If you are interested I have a extra set of the Panamera 5 spokes sitting in my garage.

Congratulations!

That is a beautiful car with great history, you are going to love it!

Here's the 91 XX8 GT with black (gunmetal) GTS wheels...

Not my cup of tea but a reference.
